Tap Water in Ha Long Safe for Drinking?

No, it is not safe to drink tap water in Ha Long, Vietnam. Experts advised that you boil the water before drinking to avoid stomach problems for travelers or stick to bottled water. At least allow the water to boil for a few minutes to ensure your safety. Bottled water is widely available in the city.
